ELECTRYX
The electrum standard. All 1,000,000,000 $ELEC were struck in the single transaction that deployed the contract — no admin key, no mint function, no tax. Struck once. Forever.
The alloy
THE FIRST METALOF MONEY
Electrum is what nature calls a ready-made alloy: gold and silver, mixed by geology and pulled from the ground minting-ready.
Around 600 BC in Sardis, the Lydian mint began striking lumps of it with the lion-and-bull — the first coins ever issued. The lumps were irregular; the stamp was not. One blow of the die, and a stone became a promise anyone could trust without weighing it.
The Greeks called the same substance ēlektron — amber, the resin that crackles when rubbed. From it they named the spark; from the metal, money as a struck and finished thing. Electryx holds both meanings: the electric metal of money.
One blow.
One billion units.
Die broken.
A die strikes once and the coin exists. Striking it again is not minting — it is counterfeiting. $ELEC works the same way: every unit that will ever exist moved from the zero address to the deployer inside the deploy transaction. The code that could ever add more was simply never written.

Questions
ASKED &ANSWERED
Q-01Why “Electryx”?+
Electrum — the gold-silver alloy of the world’s first coins — fused with ēlektron, amber, the Greek word that gave us “electric.” One name holds the first metal of money and the first spark. The mark is a disc split amber and black — gold and silver in one alloy — struck through by a single bar: one strike, final.
Q-02Can more $ELEC ever be minted?+
No. The contract contains no mint function, no owner and no upgrade path. The full supply was created inside the constructor — the transaction that deployed the contract. No line of code remains that can increase supply.
Q-03What does the contract itself call the token?+
The deployed testnet contract still answers name() and symbol() with the labels it was struck with — those strings are as immutable as the supply. The brand reads Electryx / $ELEC; the chain keeps its first strike.
Q-04Who holds the supply?+
The deployer address received the entire supply at deployment, visible on the explorer. Distribution happens through ordinary transfers — the contract grants no special privilege to anyone.
Q-05Which chain?+
Robinhood Chain — an Ethereum L2 built with Arbitrum technology. The site currently reads testnet (chainId 46630); a mainnet deployment is planned, and the editions above will say when.
Q-06Is this financial advice?+
No. Electryx is an independent experiment in radical contract simplicity. Nothing here is financial advice, and testnet tokens have no value.
